Children's of Alabama Receives Support From Alabama Rx Card and United Networks of America
Alabama Rx Card presented a $10,170.95 donation to Children’s of Alabama located in Birmingham, Alabama. Children’s of Alabama is the third largest pediatric hospital in the United States. In 2017, Children’s had 677,549 patient visits to clinics and 15,548 patient admissions. Alabama Rx Card has been working closely with the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, Children’s of Alabama along with numerous clinics and hospitals around the state to distribute free discount prescription cards so that all Alabama residents will have access to this free program. A donation will be made to your local CMN hospital each time a prescription is processed through the Alabama Rx Card.
Since 2015, the United Networks of America partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised over $2.4 million dollars for local children’s hospitals. Of this, $10,170.95 has been raised for Children’s of Alabama.
